The Service","body":"The Service provides programmatic access to aggregated data products — financial market data, sports scores and odds, and others as the catalog grows — over documented HTTP endpoints, both on our native /v1 surface and via marketplace-compatible path aliases. We may add, modify, or retire endpoints, fields, or features at any time; where a change is breaking, we aim to announce it in advance through the documentation or status page."},{"title":"3. API keys and account responsibility","body":"Access requires a valid API key issued by us or by an authorized marketplace. Your key is a secret: do not embed it in client-side code, public repositories, or shared documents. You are responsible for all requests made with your key, whether or not you authorized them, until you notify us of a compromise at support@apexon.dev. We may rotate or revoke keys for security reasons."},{"title":"4. Plans, quotas, and billing","body":"Plans define a monthly request quota and a per-minute rate limit, both enforced automatically and surfaced through X-RateLimit-* response headers. Purchases made through a marketplace (such as RapidAPI) are billed and refunded under that marketplace's checkout, billing cycle, and refund policies; purchases made directly from us are billed as described at the point of sale. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes apply from the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise. Quota resets follow your billing date. Unused quota does not roll over."},{"title":"5. Acceptable use","body":"You agree not to: (a) bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, quotas, or caching; (b) share, sublicense, or pool a single key across unrelated products or customers; (c) resell or republish raw, unmodified API responses as a competing data API without a separate commercial agreement with us; (d) use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights, including data providers' rights; (e) impose abnormal load, probe, or disrupt the Service or its upstream sources. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate keys engaged in any of the above, with or without notice depending on severity."},{"title":"6. Market data and third-party sources","body":"Data served by the Service is aggregated from publicly reachable third-party sources. Apexon is an independent company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Yahoo, any exchange, or any upstream data brand. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and response shapes mirror upstream sources, which can change without notice. Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, an offer to buy or sell any security, or a recommendation of any investment strategy. Do not make trading decisions based solely on data from the Service. If you redistribute data to your own users, you are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws and any exchange or data-provider requirements that apply to your use case."},{"title":"7. Sports and betting-adjacent data","body":"Some Apexon products serve sports data, including live scores and in-play betting odds. That data is aggregated from a publicly reachable in-play board. It is not official league data, not an official feed from any bookmaker or exchange, and not a complete betting coupon — it reflects the mainline markets the public board publishes at the time we observe them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by bet365, any league, club, or sports data provider. Odds and scores may be delayed, incomplete, suspended, or superseded, and must not be used as a system of record for settling wagers, resolving disputes, or any purpose where an incorrect value causes financial loss. Nothing we serve is betting advice or a recommendation to place any wager. Gambling is regulated differently in every jurisdiction: if you build a product that uses this data, you are solely responsible for holding any licence your jurisdiction requires, for enforcing age and location restrictions on your own users, and for complying with advertising and responsible-gambling rules. You may not use these products where doing so would be unlawful."},{"title":"8. Availability and support","body":"The Service is provided on a best-effort basis without a contractual SLA on self-serve plans. Current status is published at https://api.apexon.dev/health. We may perform maintenance, and upstream instability may temporarily degrade individual endpoints. Support is provided by email at support@apexon.dev with response times that vary by plan. If you need contractual availability or support commitments, contact us about a volume agreement."},{"title":"9. Changes to the Service or these Terms","body":"We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always available at /legal/terms. Material changes will be signposted in the documentation or status page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms."},{"title":"10. Suspension and termination","body":"You may stop using the Service at any time; cancellation of paid plans takes effect per Section 4. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, security risk, legal requirement, or conduct that threatens the stability of the Service or its upstream sources. Upon termination your license to use the Service ends and outstanding fees remain payable. Sections 6, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination."},{"title":"11. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service and use returned data within your own applications during your subscription, subject to Section 5. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD.
